Meet Our Management Team
Randy Duncan, President, LPO
A native Texan, Randy Duncan, CPO/LPO has been providing orthotic and prosthetic care in north Texas for the last 15 years. Having completed degrees at both Baylor University and UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, he currently holds national certification in prosthetics and orthotics from the American Board for Certification in Orthotics & Prosthetics. Randy was appointed in 2016 to the Texas Advisory Board for Orthotics and Prosthetics. Randy has long been known for creating solutions for medically difficult cases requiring prosthetic and orthotic treatment helping restore people to normal function and participate in life in ways they thought they would never again be able. A true caregiver, Randy is excited about providing innovative solutions through Stability to the people of McKinney and surrounding areas.
Steven Carter, Chief Operating Officer
Steven Carter first joined the Stability Prosthetic Team in November of 2020. Steven joins our team from a background of 24 years as an Occupational Therapy Assistant and Rehabilitation Director. Most recently, Steven was the Rehabilitation Liaison for Saint Catherine’s Skilled Nursing Facility in Waco, Texas. Steven has served as Rehabilitation Director for various Skilled Nursing Facilities across Central Texas and at one time owned his own
therapy center. He has demonstrated a talent for managing and coordinating therapy services through building relationships and supervising people with compassion while incorporating the best strategies to help his company and the individuals served to achieve excellence. Steven is an active father and new grandfather living in Waco, Texas with his wife, Marci, and son, Isaiah. He is also an avid barbeque competitor on the weekends and enjoys running a pop up food truck business. Steven includes
his daughters and their spouses, Morgan, Dylan, Kendra and Daniel as well as his grandson, Hayes in his various adventures.
Mr. Carter runs a tight ship at work and at home because of his upbringing in a large family and his military service in the US Army. Having a therapy background, Steven is a natural advocate for others. He has enjoyed gaining knowledge and skills in the area of meeting the needs of amputees, both in the therapy world and through his prosthetic endeavors. Because he was
raised by a father with a left below elbow amputation, Steven has witnessed first-hand the difference a good prosthetic can make in the life of an amputee. He is passionate about serving people and improving and adapting his skill set to meet the needs of others.
Heather Duncan, Chief Financial Officer
Heather is a native Texan who grew up in Richardson and now lives in McKinney. She graduated from Baylor University with a degree in Business Management. Heather brings 24 years of business management experience to Stability. When she is not working she loves to travel with Randy and their 3 children. But mostly you can find her cheering on her kids at their sporting events. Her family is also active at First United Methodist Church McKinney. She is thrilled to be a part of Stability's company vision by providing quality healthcare to residents of Collin and surrounding counties.
James Slater, Director- Austin
James Slater has 20 years of experience both in sales and accounting and finance. He has owned and managed other businesses and has also served as a CFO in school districts the past 13 years. From this experience he understands the importance of serving his community and meeting the needs of his patients. When James is not serving the needs of his patients you will find him spending time with his wife and two kids. They enjoy going to the beach and off roading. James is passionate about seeing his patients be successful and is excited about being a part of the Stability Prosthetics team.
